The Public Relations Officer for the Techiman South Municipal Educational Directorate, Stephen Owusu has revealed the measures taken by the directorate to reopen the Traa basic school as soon as possible.

This comes after the Education Directorate closed down the school indefinitely following the open defecation by some indigents at the school premises especially in classrooms.

In a short video sighted by soireenews,  a man is seen telling the students to go and learn at home because they are taking their teachers away.

According to the man, he believes it's a deliberate attempt by some people to make teaching uncomfortable for teachers by defecating in the classrooms.

In a very quick turn of events, the Assemblymember for Sansama, Traa said, the authorities in the community, have rendered an apology to the Educational Directorate to overlook the wrongdoing of some view uncultured members of the community, and consider the educational well-being of the students.

According to him, the authorities of the Traa community have put measures in place to ensure such ill-mannered attitude of some people does not repeat.

PRO for the Techiman South Municipal Educational Directorate, Stephen Owusu, reacting to the passionate appeal from the community said, the Education Directorate has also put measures in place to reopen the Traa Basic School as soon as possible.
