We apologize for the late communication of SHS 3 reopening date - GES
The GES said it sympathizes with parents and guardians for the inconvenience caused by the change in reopening date for SHS 3 students
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has apologized to stakeholders for the late communication on the rescheduling of reopening date for final year senior high students.
The Director-General, Prof Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa in an interview on Accra based Peace FM said his outfit understands the frustration parents are going through because of the change in date.
"We're truly sorry; it's a very frustrating situation and so we understand the parents," he told Kwami Sefa Kayi in an interview on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo'.

The GES said it has rescheduled the reopening for Senior High School (SHS) Form 3 students to May 5.
In a Facebook post, it said this was after management considered a proposal from the Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools (CHASS).
The Service said, “This applies to all Form 3 students (single track and double track schools). Further details will be announced. All other arrangements on the calendar remain unchanged.”
