Liverpool have been unsettled since the injury to the two central defenders who were speculated to miss the rest of the season.
They are focused on their rehabilitation programmes with members of Liverpool’s medical team at the Kirkby complex on Friday, February 19, 2021.
Van Dijk was scissored by Jordan Pickford in October last month when the Reds engaged the Toffees in the Merseyside derby at Goodison Park. Liverpool came out with 2-2 results before Joe Gomez was also stricken by injury whiles on National duty with the Three Lions of England.
The absence of the two have seen Fabinho, Jordan Henderson, Rhys Williams and Nathaniel Philips all feature in the heart of defense in the Premier League, Champions League, League and FA Cup.
Ben Davies and Ozan Kabak were Reds signings in January to strengthen the leaky defense of the Reds recently, which has seen their 69 unbeaten home record ended by Burnley last month and are winless in three successive games in the Premier League.
They have lost the top-four battle and are 16 points behind Manchester City on the Premier League table.
Liverpool will play Everton on Saturday at Anfield as they look forward to winning for the first time on the grounds since they lost their unbeaten run.
