Vaccines Should Not Be Mandatory

The coalition for public health and justice held a press conference today, to the government and healthcare bodies to bring to a halt the compulsory vaccination of Ghanaians.

President for the Public Health and Justice, Edem Sena stated that some people are having life-threatening symptoms after taking their shots.

They are not being publicized because the majority are fine after taking the dosage.

He further mentioned that government should be conscious of making the Covid vaccination mandatory.

“We are concerned about institutions who say without the vaccination, they cannot work”, he added.

“Government, your citizens are more concerned about this issue,” he advised.

Again, the government must conduct much more research, connect with public officers and people,” he explained

“Let’s address their needs, let’s not run on with this action, which a lot of people will be affected,” he stated.

He commented on the fact that traditional rulers should encourage their subjects.

Meanwhile, the government has not made the Covid vaccination mandatory.

He urged all parents or guardians and employers not to force children, youngsters or employees to get vaccinated.
