Use the Ramadan Period to pray for sound leadership - former NDA boss to Muslims

Dr. Sulemana Alhassan Anamzoya, former Chief Executive officer for the Northern Development Authority (NDA) and Senior Lecturer, Sociology Department, at the University of Legon has extended Ramadan felicitation to Ghanaian Muslims especially Muslims in the Tolon constituency of the Northern Region.

In a brief Ramadan message, he called on Muslims to take advantage of the holy month to pray for mother Ghana to continue to flourish.

"I felicitate all Ghanaian Muslims especially Muslims in the Tolon constituency of the Northern Region as the Holy Month of Ramadan begins".

He revealed that Ramadan remains a period of spiritual reflection, faith-building, abstinence, sacrifice, and supplications to Almighty Allah.

According to him, the Akufo Addo government is doing everything possible to salvage situations for a prosperous and stable economy.

I felicitate all Ghanaian Muslims, particularly Muslims in the Tolon Constituency, of the Northern Region as the Holy Month of Ramadan begins. 

Ramadan is the month when Muslims globally observe one of the five pillars of their faith, share with their brothers and sisters and show love to all people around them. 

Ramadan remains a period of spiritual reflection, faith-building, abstinence, sacrifice, and supplications to the Almighty Allah.

The importance of the period is even more crucial for us as we seek Allah’s intervention and divine guidance in addressing some challenges that we face as a people. 

The government of the day is doing everything possible to salvage situations for a prosperous, peaceful, and loving nation. 

For our Muslim compatriots in the New Patriotic Party in the Northern Region, let us use the opportunity of Ramadan to pray for sound leadership, peace, and growth of our party knowing that Allah answers the prayers of the faithful.
