The Director-General of Welfare at the Ghana Police Service, COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo- Danquah has cautioned Dispatch Riders of the Service against unauthorized escorting of vehicles.

According to her, any dispatch rider found in such an act would be sanction with the standing order of the police service.

On behalf of the Inspector General of Police (IGP), during a meeting with the dispatch riders at the Police Headquarters in Accra, COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa emphasized the need for the dispatch riders to cooperate with the modus operandi of the police service.

She advised the Riders to be careful and use the Police Service motorbikes for official duties only.

COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa encouraged the riders to take their health seriously, and seek periodic medical care.

She further assured the Riders of the Police Administration’s commitment to improving the welfare of Police Officers.
