Speaking to the 2nd in Command of the Immigration Service at Sampa, the Jaman North District Capital, Superintendent Mohammed Khaleed emphasized the need for all to move by the presidential directives during the 28th COVID-19 address.

Following the presidential directives on the opening of land and sea borders during his 28th coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic address on Sunday, the immigration post at Sampa, a border town that shares boundaries with the Ivory Coast has laid down procedures to help prevent the escalation of the pandemic while free movement of peoples and goods along the border is now authorized. 
Speaking to the 2nd in Command of the Immigration Service at Sampa, the Jaman North District Capital, Superintendent Mohammed Khaleed emphasized the need for all to move by the presidential directives during the 28th COVID-19 address.
He stated that his outfit after the president announced the opening of the border reached the other security agencies at the Ivory Coast to ensure that they prevent any unvaccinated person from entering Ghana because anyone who has not fully taken his COVID-19 jabs will not be allowed to enter Ghana.
He stressed that his team is strictly ensuring that Ghanaians who are also not vaccinated fully will not be permitted to enter Ivory Coast to prevent the subsequent spread of COVID-19 19 and other communicable diseases. 
Superintendent Khaleed seized the opportunity to advise all travelers in the various border towns to ensure that, their valid documents for traveling and the covid 19 Vaccination cards are made available to facilitate the traveling. 
He advised people not to go contrary to the laws of the immigration service by using unapproved routes because such acts are tantamount to prosecution when arrested.
