UNIPGC Decorates Weija Gbawe NDC MP Aspirant With Doctorate Degree

A Parliamentary hopeful for the Weija Gbawe Constituency, Nii Saka Allorey, has been honoured with an honourary Ph.D. at the 11th edition of the Pan African Leadership Investment Summit and Awards (PASISA). In addition, Mr. Saka Allotey was forthwith an inducted member of the Investiture as Fellow (FCIPG) of the Chartered Institute of Peace and Governance, USA. Organised by the United International Peace and Governance Council of Africa in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism Creative Arts and Culture, the event sought to recognise hardworking youth upon successful completion of the doctorate degree. The UNIPGC holds an international summit in a selected African country annually to celebrate and honour personalities who have worked assiduously towards ensuring peace and good governance in their respective counties. This year's award ceremony was on the theme: "Peaceful Co-Existence and Synergy for Ghana and Africa's Development." Speaking in an interview with the media on the sidelines of the event, Dr. Nii Saka Allotey hinted that the receipt of the award will be felt in the Weija Gbawe constituency in the form of entrepreneurial training for members of the constituency. He added by saying, "Up until now, the constituency has not elected a candidate who has the constituency at heart to carry the concerns of the constituents to the august House for attention". He, however, urged delegates within the constituents to elect someone who can build entrepreneurial skills training for the members of the constituency. He affirmed his resolve to embark on massive entrepreneurial skills training when elected the Member of Parliament for the Weija Gbawe constituency. Dr. Saka Allotey stressed that," I will bring massive entrepreneurial skills training with the honour I have received".
