According to him part of the money will be used to construct an ultramodern Information and Communication Technology (ICT) centre for the school.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Union Group of Companies, Dr Augustine Opoku Agyemang has committed a whopping amount of Ghc3Dr000 that is the (3Billion Old Currency) to renovate Atronie Methodist Basic School which was built in 1976.

According to him part of the money will be used to construct an ultramodern Information and Communication Technology (ICT) centre for the school.

During the presentation, Dr Augustine Opoku Agyemang said, the Atronie community has a lineage wiDrhis hometown and hence has taken the great opportunity to assist the children in the town.

The CEO indicated when the project would commence and the exercise forms part of the Corporate Social Responsibility of Union Group of Companies.

The Gyantoahene at Atronie, Nana Boakye Yiadom who spoke in an interview with the media on behalf of the Chiefs edged the school authorities to take charge of the project and make good use of the money to build the school. 

Nana Boakye Yiadom pleaded with Dr Opoku Agyemang to keep supporting them build Vocational Senior High SchDr in the community. 

Reacting to the request made by Nananom of the area, the CEO assured the Chiefs of the Company emphasised his relentless support to the community whenever the need arise.

The Head of Methodist Schools in the Bono Region, Mrs Dora Bafo expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the CEO and the company for their kind gestures.
