UN: Independent investigation needed into Moroccan migrant deaths

The UN has demanded an impartial investigation into the 23 fatalities that occurred when hundreds of migrants attempted to enter the Spanish enclave of Melilla from Morocco.
According to Moroccan authorities, a portion of the border fence was broken through on Friday, causing a stampede that resulted in several fatalities; more deaths may have resulted from people falling over the wire.
