It has emerged that lives of pupils and teachers of Aburaso Methodist Primary School in the Atwima Nwabiagya District of the Ashanti Region are in danger as they were forced to conduct classes in dilapidated and life-threatening school building structure.
The hundreds of these school going children are being compelled to study in a dilapidated structure as an already finished two storey building yet to be commissioned.
 
 
Cracked walls, loose door flames, falling ceiling and foul-smelling animal droppings characterise school facility in the area and that the education authorities are reluctant to close down school despite the danger the classrooms pose.
School children and teachers say they are compelled to endure the inhumane conditions in the name of education but the poor nature of the classrooms has become a source of worrying to the parents and teachers.
 
Against this background the parents and teachers of Aburaso Methodist Primary School in the Atwima Nwabiagya District of the Ashanti Region urged government to come to their aid over infrastructure deficit in their school.
Speaking on Shaft FM, some of the parents lament that most of the school building are weak, whiles others have already developed cracks posing  threat to the teachers and the therefore they are urging government to come to their aid.
Meanwhile there is an already finished two storey building yet to be commissioned so parents are urging authority to commission the two story building to ease congestion of students.
Owing to this fact, the structural integrity of the building is now in question, as it is developing serious cracks and holes. Its surroundings have been left bushy and serving as a host to reptiles and dangerous animals while students for whom the building was built for, a study in a dilapidated building structure.
Parents who sent their wards to the school also urged authorities to build toilet in the school for them to stop the children from easing in the bush
