Two Female Students in the Upper East Region suspended due to illegal termination of pregnancy.

Two female students of the Zamse Senior High Technical School in the Bolgatanga Municipality of the Upper East Region have been expelled from the school following misconduct and illegal termination of pregnancy.

The students, who were discovered by school authorities to be pregnant, went home to abort their pregnancies.

The action by the two girls has been described as immoral and against the rules and regulations governing the school.

School authorities, therefore, referred the students to the disciplinary committee of the school, where it was established that the actions of the girls violated the rules and regulations of the school hence ought to go on an indefinite suspension.

Meanwhile, the students were identified to be in the first and second year respectively.
