Two persons who are residents of Twifo Kayireku in the Twifo Ati-Morkwa District of the Central Region have been found dead in the bush with some parts of their bodies missing.

According to the Unit Committee Chairman of the area, Teacher Addai Peter, the incident happened within a spate of two weeks stating that the current trend of mysterious deaths in the area has caused intense fear and panic among the residents in the area.

Teacher Addai appealed to the Twifo Ati-Morkwa District Police Command to fast-track investigations of the crimes to bring the perpetrators to book and put measures in place to maintain the security of the area.

In another breath of the news, a mentally deranged woman has suddenly attacked and killed a 53 years old woman, Adwoa Kesewaa with a stick without provocation in the same Community.

After killing the deceased who is caring for 7 children, she chased other residents with the same stick, however, bystanders moved to the scene with urgency and whisk the stick away before any other calamity.

Meanwhile, DSP Charles Addai Boateng who is the Twifo Ati-Morkwa and Hemang Lower-Denkyira Districts Police Commander has assured residents of Twifo Kayireku of intensive security and explained the extent of the police investigations into the matter.
