According to the National Emergency Management Agency, a horrifying attack on a Catholic church in southwestern Nigeria killed 22 people and injured 50 others on Sunday.

It's the first time officials have issued a death toll since the incident two days ago, but authorities have yet to reveal who the assailants were or why they carried out the act.
