The Chairperson of the Council of Elders of the New Patriotic Party ( NPP), Mrs Felicia Appiah with a saddened heart cautioned polling station delegates and some constituency executives who spearheaded the skirt and blouse votes in the constituency to have a change of heart and repent from the sins they committed against the party in the constituency.

She maintained that, for the strength of the lord and various strategies implemented by the campaign team under the leadership of the Member of Parliament, Hon Kwasi Ameyaw-Cheremeh the NPP would've lost such a crucial and traditional seat.

She again held that the few constituency executives who led the skirt and blouse crusade against the MP must bow their heads in shame and repent for the better.

This, she revealed at the end of the Constituency Delegates conference which was scheduled at Penkwase High Street JHS.

At the same event, the Member of Parliament for the Area, Hon Kwasi Ameyaw-Cheremeh reminded the delegates to champion the many developmental projects on the constituency being executed by the Nana Addo led NPP government ie: Roads, classrooms projects, water projects, scholarships, electricity extension etc.

He again called on the delegates and the Party to rally support for Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as he is currently our greatest weapon to winning the 2024 elections. He added, "this man Bawumia is honestly not just the best candidate for our victory in the coming elections, he is the only person currently who can spearhead and continue the many developmental projects of the country because he is unique and an able leader".

The Sunyani East Lawmaker rounded up by referencing an illegal Party card registration by some unscrupulous people in the constituency being perpetuated by some 4 constituency executives including a recently suspended Member of the executives.

He maintained, the party had not opened for membership registration and that, the Party Would announce to interested Members to register legally in the coming days.
