Those against national cathedral, pioneering the idea of the devil- Pastor 

Head Pastor of Well of Salvation Ministries, Bishop  Collins Nyarko has labelled anyone who speaks against the construction of the national cathedral as someone “pioneering the idea of the devil”.

According to him, some people see the construction of a National Cathedral by the government as a misplaced priority but the project is one of the best gifts that the Lord has given to the church in Ghana, through the President.

"However, there is the need for all to pull resources to put up this important structure", he indicated.

He expressed disappointment at those who are against the building of the National Cathedral whiles explaining that,  the national cathedral which was the vision of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is a multi-purpose church that will be used for Christian activities as well as national programs and it would remain as a national asset and not a facility for any political group or person.

He said, "Ghanaians should be grateful that, they have a President who is God-fearing and wants to build a church for God, so everyone can go in there to worship".

He noted that the national cathedral would be the rallying point for the Christian community to come together to worship and pray and to build the country.

Bishop  Nyarko appealed to Ghanaians not to politicize the construction of the cathedral, because it would serve as a platform for discussing faith-based organizations and national issues.
