The man who stole the iPhone 14 Pro Max belonging to American rapper Meek Mill made his initial court appearance after being detained.

Nuhu Sule, a scrap trader who is accused of stealing Meek Mill's phone, was charged with stealing when he appeared before an Accra Circuit court on January 4.

The suspect entered a not guilty plea and will likely be seen again on January 17, 2023.

Background

Prior to his performance at the 2022 Afronation Ghana concert, the American rapper Meek Mill came in Ghana on Thursday, December 29. The concert is one of the many musical performances that are held each year.

Prior to the show, he rode a quad bike beside an unnamed light-skinned woman to demonstrate his stunt prowess alongside a large group of DC bikers.

He took to his Instagram stories to cry out after his phone was stolen. He wrote, “They pickpocketed me for my phone SMH… Bring that Jawn back if you got it!!!”
