"The Office Complex for the Oforikrom Municipality would be Completed in Nine Months" - Project Manager

The Oforikrom Municipality is part of the first batch of Assemblies to benefit from government’s initiative to build an administration block for the daily management of the Assembly.

The Project Manager for Eco Planet and Engineering Consult, Mr. Daniel Yeboah has disclosed that the nine-month duration agreed to complete the construction of the three-storey complex for the Oforikrom Municipal Assembly is an auspicious period to put the job to bed.

He spoke that the commitment of government towards improving the work of the Local Government to function effectively is a noble approach hence their keenness to start and conclude the job on time for operative administration to begin in the Municipality.

 

 

The three- storey building to be stationed at Ayigya would contain 37 offices, 150-capacity conference hall and a mechanic Borehole.

Briefing the media on the availability of funds, Mr. Yeboah revealed that finances and resources are ready for work to commence. He promised that everything needed to progress the work has been put in place thus, the work will proceed as expected without further setbacks.

“We have given the contractor two months to complete the sub-structure so within nine months, the work would be completed. Other Assemblies have a time frame of seven months to have their building completed,” he said.

He promised to supervise on the contractors (Afrakko Company Limited) daily until the work is done.
