The New Tafo Area Head of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Samuel Antwi has commended the efforts of the Mamponteng District in helping to dedicate the Central Assembly to the Glory of God.

 

 

According to Apostle Antwi, consecrating a building for God’s purpose does not come on a silver platter yet the Local has been courageous in the 11 years journey converting their limited finances into an end product, which will forever be remembered in the history of the Church of Pentecost.

“It has not been easy but God’s Grace has been sufficient. Although the Local didn’t have enough funds yet they gave their all to make this possible with the support of the Area and National,” he said.

 

 

According to Apostle Samuel Antwi in a brief interview at the Dedication Service of the Central Assembly on Sunday, February 24, 2020, the total of the Area and National contributions towards building the Mamponteng Central Assembly was GH₵175,000. He uttered that the effort of the District motivated the area to reward them an extra GH₵25,000 to settle arrears incurred in the project.

“We have given the District GH₵25,000 to help resolve a few cost surrounding the building. The District has been supportive for the past three years through the creation of the Bampenase District and the Mamponteng New town this year.

 

 

“It shows their commitment and dedication. We are witnesses to this because, they courageously have made it possible,” Apostle added.

Speaking to the presiding elder, John Appau on his expectations after the establishment of the place of worship, he advised the Youth on the need to preserve the Auditorium and involve themselves in the activities of the Church by dedicating their lives to reflect on the 2020 theme, “A Glorious Church to possess the Nation.”

 

 

“The Youth should go in line with the doctrines of the Church and help make Mamponteng one of the defined Locals to search for God.

“They should not try to manage God’s house by their own means but revere the heritage left by the old. This will help to move the Church at where God desire it to be,” he spoke.

The Central Auditorium can occupy 1,500 people can when fully packed whiles the comfortable seating mode can take up to 1,300 people. The building is installed with four television screens for projection.

There are much washrooms and offices in the auditorium and apart from that, a separate washroom has been built behind the building to serve as addtionals for members.
