Real Madrid is hoping to bounce back from their 3-0 defeat to Paris St. Germain in their opening game in the UEFA Champions League.

Madrid welcome Club Brugge in their second game at the Santiago Bernabeu and according to Zidane, coach of Los Blancos, the fans will play an important role in their pursuit to redeem themselves today.

"The fans are going to play an important role for us. We know we didn't start our Champions League campaign off well but this is a chance to give something back to the fans, and they deserve it. Also, frankly, we need to pick up some points, too."

He addressed the media that the game is a tough one therefore he is expecting his boys to demonstrate solidity and strength on and off the ball in order to acquire the needed points to switch them from the buttom of the table.

"We need to show our solidity and strength when we don't have the ball. When we have the ball, we need to create chances. We are happy with what we are doing but tomorrow we need to remember the game is a very, very, very big one for us. The only thing we want to do is win because we are fourth in the table - that's the reality of things."

Eden Hazard did not refute claims to uplift his game – he has assured fans of working hard everyday and hope to pick it up as time routes. The Belgian described his country club as a great side and do not intend to devalue their depth.

Club Brugge drew their first game against Galatasaray at the Jan Breydel Stadium.

"I know people expect a lot of me and so do I. I'm my biggest critic, but by working hard every day, we will achieve great things: we have a top squad. [Club Brugge are] a great side, who are top of their league. The fact they have got someone like [Simon] Mignolet shows you that they’re a great side. We aren't thinking it will be easy just because they’re a Belgian side," he said.
