According to Mr Godfred Okyere Owusu, passengers needs to be patient with drivers when they are on board so that drivers may not lose concentration when driving as a result of unpalatable utterances by passengers.

Mr Godfred Okyere Owusu also known as Spanky is the road safety campaign ambassador for the Wassa East District of the Western Region has advised that the various road accidents that occur on our roads are by our actions and inactions but not by the influence of any supernatural force.
He made this statement when he single-handedly sponsored the National Road Safety Authority, Ghana National Fire Service, National Ambulance Service, and MTTD to engage the drivers and motto cyclists in the Wassa East District in a one-day sensitization program at Daboase.
He said some of the avoidable human causes of road accidents which include alcoholism, fatigue, overspeeding, and lack of vehicle maintenance among other factors are mostly the leading cause of major road accidents.

The Western Regional MTTD Commander, Chief Supo Isaac Kwasi Sorkpah also explained that pedestrians should take into account precautionary measures when walking along or crossing the road to avoid any possible road accidents.
The drivers were finally advised to be extra careful this Christmas to drive alive passengers to their destinations.
