The Ayew Brothers Lead To Ghana's Defeat-Kwaku Bonsam Revealed

Popular renowned Ghanaian traditional priest, Nana Kwaku Bonsam, has said the decision of Ghana’s coach to allow Ayew brothers to play together in the same match is the reason Ghana was defeated in the AFCON.

The priest who is a staunch supporter of the Black Stars in an interview on Adom TV and other media platforms disclosed that Ghana will always miss out anytime Dede Ayew and Jordan Ayew play in the same match.

According to him, it is not right for the two brothers to start a match, hence one should start from the bench.

Kwaku Bonsam stated, “The Black Stars belong to all Ghanaians and not any family in Ghana.  Before the AFCON tournament, I was granted interviews and made it known that the coach should not pair the Ayew brothers at the same time. They are from the same womb and so they should not play at the same time. Look at how well Jordan played when Ayew was benched after receiving a red card.”

Nana Kwaku Bonsam also revealed that Ghana will suffer the same defeat if we allow Jordan Ayew and Dede Ayew to play in a particular match at the same time.

He revealed that it is only when one starts from the bench that can win the Black Stars the rest of their matches which will probably see them qualify from the group stages of the ongoing AFCON 2021 hosted by Cameroon.

His advice wasn’t taken seriously as coach Milovan started the two brothers in every group stage match and according to Kwaku Boinsam in a fresh interview, it was the reason the Stars were eliminated by Comoros Island.

Ghana was eliminated in the group stage at the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) with a 3-2 loss to tournament debutant Comoros.

Ghana fell behind in the fourth minute had Captain Andre Ayew harshly sent off in the 25th, and was 2-0 down in the 61st.

The Black Stars leveled with two goals in 13 minutes late in the game, only to concede again when Comoros winger, Ahmed Magni, swept his second goal in the 85th minute.
