NATIONAL Democratic Congress (NDC) was full of appreciation for its members and suppters
who had joined the party to call for the release of our Parliamentary Candidate for the Awutu Senya East Constituency, Phillis Naa Koryoo Okunor.
"On behalf of the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), I wish to extend profound appreciation to all comrades, who joined us at the Cantonments Police Station; those who could not join us physically but joined the #FreeNaaKoryooNow advocacy and all those who supported in diverse ways, the call for the release of our Parliamentary Candidate for the Awutu Senya East Constituency, Phillis Naa Koryoo Okunor.
"Together, we demonstrated to the despotic NPP government, our resolve to stand united against oppressor's rule. By coming out in our numbers on the night of Friday, 7th June, 2024 and observing a vigil in solidarity with our sister, we have sent a clear message to the tyrannical Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government and its collaborators in the Ghana Police Service, that we will neither be intimidated nor cowed," the National communication Director of the NDC, Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi noted.
