Following the arrest of the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC by the Ghana Police Service, the Bono Regional Youth Wing of the NPP is appealing to the government, the Ghana Police Service, and the Judicial Service to temper justice with mercy.

Following the arrest of the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC by the Ghana Police Service, the Bono Regional Youth wing of the NPP is appealing to the government, the Ghana Police Service and the Judicial Service to temper justice with mercy.


In an interview with Soiree News Nana Anfreh, the Bono Regional Youth Organizer  Shadrach Abrefah Mensah said Chairman Abronye DC honored the invitation of the police to assist in investigations into allegations he made unlike others who have turned down to honor police invitation and was later arrested by they the police in the country.

He therefore appealed to the government, the Ghana Police Service and the Judicial Service to temper justice with mercy on Chairman Abronye DC for honoring police invitation.
He also called on the Ghana Police Service to act professional saying, “ if they want to please others, the police should find alternative way of pleasing them not  unnecessary invitation”.
Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, has been charged with two counts of publication of false news and offensive conduct conducive to breach of peace.
This follows his arrest after he alleged that former President, John Mahama wanted to stage a coup in Ghana.
According to media reports, the NPP communicator made the claim on Hot 93.9 FM in Accra, while responding to the arrest of #FixTheCountry convener, Oliver Mawuse Barker-Vormawor.
