Techiman South MP And MCE Donates Mono Desks To Education Directorate
The Assistant Headmaster of Academics for Techiman Senior High, John Bismark Tawiah pleaded with other stakeholders and the public at large to support them with dining hall chairs and tables as the current ones are in deplorable states.

The Member of Parliament for Techiman South, Honourable Martin Agyei Mensah Korsah in collaboration with the acting Municipal Chief Executive, Honourable John Kofi Donyina has donated 1,150 mono desks to the education directorate.
The mono desks are to help in the teaching and learning process and also stop the spread of the covid-19 pandemic in the Municipality by ensuring students get the desk to sit on in their classrooms and to ensure the effectiveness of social distancing in classrooms.
According to Honourable John Kofi Donyina, the Municipal Educational Director, John Kojo Amisah appealed to his office to come to their aid by supplying them with 4,000 pieces of mono desks.
Honourable Donyina revealed that 180 mono desks were given to the Education Directorate for disbursement weeks ago and with the support of Honourable Martin Agyei Mensah Korsah, they have procured additional 1,150 mono desks for the schools.
He further urged administrators of the schools that will receive the mono desks to practice maintenance culture to ensure the durability of the desks.
Out of the 1,150 mono desks donated to the education directorate, 700 pieces will be giving to the Techiman Senior High School to deal with the mono desks deficit challenge facing the school's management and also to pave way for about 900 freshers for effective academic works.
The Municipal Educational Director, John Kojo Amisah, who received the desk showed his profound gratitude to the MCE while calling on other stakeholders and well-meaning individuals to help the directorate to achieve its objective of providing quality education in the Municipality.
The Assistant Headmaster of Academics for Techiman Senior High, John Bismark Tawiah applauded the efforts of the MP and MCE saying their donation came in the nick of time.
He further pleaded with other stakeholders and the public at large to support them with dining hall chairs and tables as the current ones are in deplorable states.
