Techiman MCE extends Nana Addo's wishes to final year students

Techiman MCE extends Nana Addo's wishes to final year students

The Municipal Chief Executive for Techiman Municipal, Hon. Benjamin Yaw Gyarko has conveyed greetings and well wishes messages from the President of the Republic of Ghana His Excellency, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo and the MP for Techiman South, Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah to the candidates. 

The MCE referred reflected the motto of Techiman Senior High School  “NIHIL NISSI OPTIMUM” which means nothing but the best, to the final year ginger them to give out their best following his visit to the examination centres in the Municipality.

Addressing a total of 1,308 candidates at Techiman S.H.S examination Centre, Hon. Benjamin Yaw Gyarko told them that, government has already secured the progress of their education at the Senior High level through the introduction of free senior High school so they should also do their part by working hard to pass well in the examination.

MCE urged them not to be intimidated by the invigilators and the new environment in which the examination is conducted.

Benjamin Gyarko further admonished them to remain disciplined and obey all the examination rules and regulations and encouraged them not to do anything that will truncate the progress of their education. 

On behalf of the MP, Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah, the acting Techiman South Constituency Chairman(N.P.P), Mr Seth Ansah Agyei and MCE for Techiman South, Benjamin Yaw Gyarko presented quantities of bottled malt, biscuits, exercise books and pens to all the candidates in the Municipality.

This was received by the Municipal Director of Education, Techiman Mr John Kwadwo Amessah.

The total number of candidates in the Municipality writing this year’s B.E.C.E is 4,605 consisting of 2,186 boys and 2,419 girls.
