Techiman: Kenten Residents complains about huge refuse dump
The heaped refuse dump if left ajar according to the Techiman South Municipality could lead to the outbreak of cholera.
Residents of Kenten Magazine, a suburb in the Techiman South Municipality of the Bono East region have expressed worry over the refusal of the assembly to evacuate heaped refuse in the area that has been in existence for years.
According to the Assembly Member for Kenten Electoral Area, Honourable Issah Adams who spoke to Soiree News, several attempts to get the assembly to evacuate the refuse have proven futile.
He explained that, if nothing is done immediately about the situation it will result in the outbreak of cholera and other communicable diseases.
He is therefore appealing to the Municipal Assembly to as a matter of urgency come to their aid.
