Tears Flow At Kwahu  Obomeng Queen-mother's  40 Days Funeral Ceremony 

The chiefs, Queen-mothers of the Kwahu Traditional Area, and thousands of friends and sympathizers have come together to mark 40 days of the funeral ceremony of the late Queen mother-of Obomeng in the Kwahu South District of the Eastern Region, Nana Dawa Asiedua II who reportedly died on January 31, 2022.

The chiefs, Queen-mothers of the Kwahu Traditional Area, and thousands of friends and sympathizers have come together to mark 40 days of the funeral ceremony of the late Queen mother-of Obomeng in the Kwahu South District of the Eastern Region, Nana Dawa Asiedua II who reportedly died on January 31, 2022.
 
The Queen's mother of Obomeng died at a hospital after battling sickness for a short time. She reigned the stool for 35 years to unite the people of Kwahu Obomeng.
The principal streets of Kwahu Obomeng were decorated with black and red in memory of the late  Queen Nana Daawa Aseidua II, with a rich display of culture.
The chiefs and queens made donations to support the funeral, and also signed the book of condolences of the late Royals.
The traditional ceremony was graced by traditional rulers, the clergy, and politicians, among other dignities across the country who besieged the forecourt of Obomeng palace to mourn the late queen's mother.
The late Queen's mother was born in 1941-2022 and was a businesswoman who engaged in various activities.
She had seven (7) children including her first born, Nana Effah Opinaman III, Kwahu Obomeng Chief.
Nana Daawa Aseidua II, was known in her private life as Nana Janet Kyeraa and enstooled Queen mother on November 19th, 1987 under the stool name Nana Daawa Aseidua II, and succeeded 35 years on the stool to unite the people of Kwahu Obomeng.
Speaking to Nana Akoamoah Asomani, Kwahu Obomeng Afran-soa-fohene, he used the opportunity to urge all not to be afraid of the oldie's perception of the royal's funeral.
"Now that the 40 days of Kwahu Obomeng Queen Mother, Nana Daawa Aseidua II has been celebrated everything is set for Kwahu Obomeng Easter celebration," he noted.
On his part, Nana Kwaku Wadie popularly known as Albert, the Adehyiehene of Manpong-Aban-Ase, one of Nanahemaa's children spoke on the sudden exit of Kwahu Obomeng Queen-Mother.
