"One of the Unit Committee members from my electoral area called to inform me of the attack. He told me the deceased is not a native of my community and we believe he was dumped. I went with the NADMO Director, Hon Alhassan Yakubu and we made an official report before heading to the scene.

"People there testified that they heard gunshots that night, and it was very sad to see the body of the victim in a pool of his own blood. One of the CID officers recognised him and revealed that he is a taxi driver at Dunkwa and was on board his vehicle three days ago," he narrated.

He disclosed that the deceased believed to be in his thirties comes from Boabeng and might have been hired by robbers who later murdered him and bolted with his taxi.

"When we got to Dunkwa with the body, some of the taxi drivers identified him as Culture and the CID officer advised us to inform his family on the situation. He has been taken to the mortuary for autopsy."

"Per the words of friends, his wife delivered a few weeks ago and has come to stay with the driver. As of now, we haven't spoken to any family member," he added.
