Popular Ghanaian actress and newly converted Muslim Akuapem Poloo-born Rosemond Brown have issued a stern warning to controversial comedian Afia Schwar not to drag her family into their dispute.
Akuapem Polo speaking in an interview essentially warned Afia Schwarzenegger to stop using her mother’s name or else face consequences.
The single mother brazenly attacked in her response to inquiries about how her online behavior affects her family.
Akuapem Polo acknowledged that she deliberately chooses her actions and has tailored her life to elicit strong feelings from her fans, but that she must not do the same for her family.
Akuapem Polo used the example of Afia Schwarzenegger to explain how it hurts her when people make insulting remarks about her mother or son who are innocent.
“Because I know what I am doing and what I want, the insults don’t get to me but when it extends to my mum. Like when they say my mum didn’t raise me right, those comments get to me.
That was why when my big sister, Afia Schwarzenegger insulted my mum I didn’t take it lightly. If you’re dealing with me, deal with me but you don’t know my innocent mum.
She doesn’t know you, she only knows you on social media. I won’t insult your mum and don’t come on your page to tell you what to do. So if you don’t like what I do, you just have to back off.”
