Talensi Rock Youth Association rendered apology to Talensi Traditional Area

In a press release signed by Rockson Bukari (President) and Clement Kpelim- Time (Secretary) copied to Soireenews said the Tongan and his divisional neither instigated nor gave their blessings to the actions of the youth as might be perceived out there by the general public.

The Talensi Rock Youth Association (TOROYA) in the Talensi District of the Upper East Region has retracted and rendered an unqualified apology to the Tongan, the paramount chief of the Talensi traditional area and the Talensi traditional council for bringing their name to the public in bad faith. 

According to the group before the locking of the office of the headmaster of the Gbeogo School for the Deaf and subsequent press release on the 14th July 2021, in connection with the impasse in the school, the Tongan Kubil- Somber Nabebigtang, the Baare Naab Nya- pakora meantime and the Talensi traditional council as an institution was never notified.

They appealed to the Upper East Regional Director of Education and the Upper East Regional Minister to intervene in the matter so that the right thing will be done to find a replacement to the office of the headmaster of the school.
