THE MEMBER of Parliament (MP) for Bia West Constituency, Honourable Augustine Tawiah, has has advised Ghanaian students to take their studies seriously and build their potential to become responsible future leaders who will contribute to the nation’s development.

"I want to charge Ghanaian students to be extremely serious on their studies since quality education is the only way students can grow up and become good leaders in this country," he advised.
Honourable Tawiah who doubles as a Council member for KAAF University College in the Central Region, stressed that education and serious studies are considered as the back bone of every country hence the call. 

The MP in collaboration with Louis and Friends  presented 3,200 copies of textbooks to the faculty of health and Allied Sciences  in KAAF university College located at Gomoa Fetteh Kakraba today on Thursday July 4, 2024.
The  Director for Corporate Affairs, Academic Planning and International Relations for KAAF University College,Mrs. Constance Phyllis Puttick who spoke on behalf of the MP said, the books will go a long way to cover all the Health courses being persuing in KAAF university College. 

She has however hinted that, the books donated covers every course on health and Allied sciences such as Bachelor of Science in General Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Midwifery, Bachelor of Science in Public Health Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science.
For his part, the Rector for KAAF University College ,Prof. Komla Dei who received the items on behalf of the College expressed joy and appreciated the fact that the MP chose KAAF University College. 
Prof. Komla Dei pointed out that, maintenance culture is their hallmark hence they are going to take proper care of the textbooks donated and make sure students are forced to study them.
