This year's Big Brother Naija should go down as one of the hottest editions of the show.

The theme, "Pepper Dem" actually lived up to it's hype, because we the viewers were served Atarodo, Shombo, Tatashi and all the various species of Pepper we have in Nigeria.

Meanwhile, one of the major highlights of the Big brother show this year was the fight between Mercy and Tacha which led to Tacha’s disqualification.

Tacha’s disqualification led to a movement formed by her fans, they practically vowed to ensure that Mercy’s stardom won’t outshine Tacha’s. This movement started even before the reality TV show ended. At some point, there were speculations that some of Tacha’s fans-Titans, would ensure that Mercy doesn’t win the Big Brother Naija 2019 show.

However, we can’t really say for sure if they tried to stop Mercy’s win because at the end of the day, Mercy Lambo won the show with a very wide gap.

Following Tacha’s disqualification and Mercy’s subsequent win, another ‘competition’ started outside the house. The battle was centered on which housemate had the highest followers and endorsements.

Due to this ‘competition’, the queen of highlights herself was rumored to have displayed an Audio endorsement with Moet. She had shared a signed endorsement with the brand and her fans congratulated her. But shortly after, after several backlash and investigation, she deleted the post off her Instagram page.

Also, Tacha has also had her own fair share of ‘audio’ wins. Recently, she shared a muted video chat she supposedly had with Twitter’s CEO, Jack Dorsey on his birthday. According to reports, they noted that Tacha doctored the video to gain attention on her page.

Tacha wasn’t the only one that shared the supposed video with Jack Dorsey, her manager, TeeBillz, also shared this video. However, when the video suffered a heavy backlash, he (TeeBillz) took it down. Till now, Tacha and her management have not said anything about the allegation on the doctored video. What seems obvious to everyone is that these two ladies are on a ‘track’ trying to see who comes first in the race of life. 

It was also learnt that Tacha shared a video of her endorsement with Ciroc recently. The content of the video was really inspirational and interesting. This video went viral and was even trending on twitter. Tacha’s fans insulted Mercy emphasizing that Tacha is more successful than she is.

This morning, Mercy also shared her own Ciroc video, and it is causing a buzz on social media. From the look of things, it could be that these brands are actually leveraging on the grudge between these two housemates to market their product.
