Pupils and Teachers of Nsuapemso D/A basic school in the Fanteakwa South District in the Eastern Region went to school to see their school block ripped off due to a heavy rainstorm.

The rain which started about 5:30 pm on Monday 6th February 2023 did not spare the school building but destroyed it to ripped off the roofing of the school.

The heavy storm carried away the roofing sheet to about 50m away from the building. No casualty was recorded, however, various properties were destroyed.

Meanwhile, many homes and projects including billboards in the district were also destroyed as a result of the rainstorm.

The students according to them have not seen any form of assistance from authorities but are calling on the Assembly to come to their aid to bring their school back to good shape.
