Hadija together with Sumaya Sayibu, will be representing the Northern Region in this year's main competition in Accra.

Media and Mass Communication Student of the Tamale Technical University (TATu), Hadija Mashud has qualified at the audition of Atinka TV’s Flagship reality TV show, GTBank Di Asa season 5 held at Dakpema Palace in Tamale.

Hadija qualified together with Sumaya Sayibu, the two plus-size women will be representing the Northern Region in this year's main competition in Accra.

The two, according to Correspondent Ibrahim Nurudeen were chosen based on their weight, dance skill and audience appeal.

Sumaya and Hadija were given souvenirs by GTBank, GMR Industries, producers of Darling Lemon Alcoholic drink and Boboobo Bitters, Lizzy Tomatoes, Rocks Energy Drink, Sankofa Natural Spices, Flora Tissue, Tobbinco Pharmaceuticals and Research Centre and Entrance Pharmaceuticals Limited.

Miss Hadija was heavily supported during the auditions by family and friends, colleagues students and the Women's Commissioner (WOCOM) of the Tamale Technical University.

The GT Bank Di Asa Season five will award the ultimate winner with a brand new salon car.

The first runner up will be given a mini truck (Abossey Okai Macho), while the second runner up takes home a tricycle (Motorking).

The queens will also enjoy goodies from the sponsors of the show.
