Stranded Nsuomtam Residents Cry For Help As Link Bridge collapses.

Residents of Nsuomtam in the Afigya kwabre North District of the Ashanti Region want the government to immediately fix their collapsed bridge.

According to them, the call had become necessary as the bridge connecting to other parts of the communities had collapsed and is negatively affecting them.

The situation has left commuters and essential service providers stranded.

Some stranded residents narrated their ordeals to the media.

“This is a major road linking communities where people pass to their worksite. People cannot transport their goods anymore, which will affect them gravely.”

“Access to healthcare will be more difficult as we’d be unable to transport people across to Offinso. It is worrying.”

Meanwhile, the Assembly Member for Amoako north electoral area Honourable Augustine Frimpong said the situation is very worrisome and this would be a huge setback for them authorities must come to their aid.
