The stools belonging to chiefs in the Breman Brakwa in Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District of Central Region has been stolen.

This is as a result of a chieftaincy dispute between the former chief, Nana Yamoah who is in pursuit of power after he was destooled by the Traditional Council.

The robbers had earlier changed the padlocks for the house and stool rooms before the disappearance of the items; the Omankrado stool, Nana Twafo stool, Nana Kyidomhene stool, Nifahene, the queen mother's stool and other sub-chiefs stools are nowhere to be found.

The seats which denote the office of the Chief and also of subordinate officials were raided on Thursday, October 14, 2021, and speaking to the regent of Breman Brakwa, Nana Hamid Nkongua, he told Soireenews that the ex-chief, Nana Yamoah is possibly behind the misfortune following the uncertainty surrounding the involvement of his Linquist, KwameTawiah, Atta Panin and Atta Kakra.

"I was informed by someone that the stools have been stolen from the room. We decided to find out and opened the room and through investigation, it proved that Kwame Tawiah, Atta Panin and Kakra were responsible.

"They had earlier replaced the lockers of the stool room before working committing that act.

The case has been reported to the Breman Brakwa Police and it is under investigation and an assurance has been given that a summons letter will be served to the suspects.

The Regent has warned the Police not to be biased in their line of work.
