A former Municipal Chief Executive for Wenchi in the Bono Region, Odeefour Nana Atta Fena has called on the incoming Bono Regional Minister, Justina Owusu Banahene to coordinate well with the traditional authorities and other stakeholders to fight for the development of the Bono region after her approval.

He said this will be the only means by which the Regional Minister-Designate when approved would be able to achieve her aim of bringing more developmental projects to the region.
The Kontihene for Koase Traditional Area was speaking to Kwabena Obeng Akrofi during an interview while commenting on the vetting of the Bono Regional Minister-Designate on Ark in the Morning.

Meanwhile, the former Municipal Chief Executive for Sunyani appeared before the Appointment Committee of Parliament yesterday for her vetting as Minister Nominee for the Bono region.

Expressing his expectation from the nominee after her approval, Nana Atta Fena stated that he expects a strong united front that will be able to push for a more deserving developmental agenda for the region.

He said the region has been deprived of development due to its inability to push for what it deserves unlike leaders in other regions that have a strong say in the business of government, yet the Bono region has been vibrant in the nation’s political activities.

He suggested some intellectuals in the region who the Regional Minister-Designate must engage after her approval to assist her champion developmental agenda for the region.
