Some Ghanaians Are Full Of Hatred - Empress Gifty

Empress Gifty is of the opinion that Ghanaians on social media are individuals who don't have joy in their lives.

The award-winning artists pointed out that social media users are never happy when something good happens to their celebrities and they only become extremely excited when evil has happened.

Per her research, social media platforms is only filled with bullies who have bitter lives but come on the Internet to make other people feel as miserable as they do.

According to her, these particular individuals always target celebrities in order to bring them down to their level whenever they see the celebrities doing well.

While speaking an interview on Kastle FM, Cape Coast-based radio station she explained how she has been a victim of such bullying even though she understands the bullies are doing it out of depression. 

"Sometimes I always tell myself that those who mostly use offensive and insulting words on social media, most of them are depressed."

“Some of them are not up to your level and some of them come to comment under your post because of jealousy,”

Empress Gifty however noted that she is never affected by the social media trolls.

She even noted that getting close to the trolls to further understand them is something that she does often. 

“Some are full of hatred and their lives are so bitter to the extent that even what most people will see as beautiful they see it otherwise,”

“So for me when I see people like that I just want to get closer to them and I want to know why they are doing that. Those that I see that they’re doing it deliberately I don’t worry myself about them,” she concluded.
