Soccer Ambassadors wins Zakmus league
Soccer Ambassadors have been crowned Zakmus community league champions in the Ga South municipality.
They navigated this campaign without a single defeat . In the end, Ambassadors won 10 of their 14 games this season with 4 draws and no defeat.
This tournament has been possible by kind courtesy of Zakaria Cobbina popularly known as Zakmus , ably supported by Osofo Amankwa, former Hearts of oak player Yaw Amankwa Mireku, Biggie and chief Rabai.
Member of parliament for Batianor Ngleshie Amanfrom, hon Sylvester Tetteh graced the final match between Ambassadors and Progen fc. Ambassadors thrashed them 3- 0. He promised to construct more astro turf in the constituency.
Ambassadors invincibles would be remembered for its attacking genius. Players like talismanic Nathaniel Amankwa and William Doe can fit into any premier league club in Ghana, and is a matter of time clubs will queue for the signatures of these young lads.
It is not just the quality of the personel, but also the entire set up, the side look more like Starlets '95 than Satellite 2009.
With both William Doe and Seth Quarcoopome tasked with shielding the defence.
That commitment to defending made Ambassadors an even better team than going forward than their talent alone suggest, because they are able to absorb pressure in thier own half before launching lethal counter-attacks led by Nathaniel Amankwa .
Zakmus league indeed is a place to discover raw diamonds in football.
