''She Hated My Wife'', Man Arrested For Murdering Her Sister

Joshua Boaman a 40-year-old man has been remanded into prison by the Berekum Circuit Court presided by His Lordship Abdul Yusif Assibey this morning for murdering her 35-year-old sister Matilda Boaman at Woaia a suburb of Berekum.

The court has ordered the accused to be taken to custody for further investigation and medical examination.

Joshua Boaman, reappearing to court on 29 April 2022, will undergo three separate testing at the Berekum Government Hospital on his mental wellbeing before his second appearance in court in April. Your actions cannot be understood and only a medical examination can explain to us, the judge added before adjourning the case to April 2022.

Joshua, without any remorse for his actions, asked the judge, ‘’what he would have done if his sister was witching his wife. My sister was not a human but a witch with red light 'ya koooo'. She had the full powers of my village and needed to die.

I can't allow her to continue tormenting my wife. She hated my wife and that was it. If you hate your brother's wife, you must die. If you were in my place, what would you have done? Would you have sat and allowed the devil to destroy your family before eliminating her’’, Joshua Boaman questioned the judge before he was remanded into prison for psychiatry screenings.

Joshua, alleged to be suffering from behavioral disorders, used a garden fork and stabbed his sister, Matilda Boaman to death on 15 February 2022. Matilda, having a conversation with Joshua's wife, shouted at her on the night of 15 February.

The shouts from Matilda to Joshua's wife, resulted in a fight between the two women until Joshua took the fork and stabbed Matilda in the back. Matilda was confirmed dead on the same night at the Berekum Government Hospital.

Joshua was arrested on 16 February and charged with the murder of his sister. He was arraigned before the Berekum Circuit Court this morning where he has been remanded into prison. Joshua will be back in court on 29 April 2022 where his hearing will begin.
