Rapper Sarkodie claims that Dancehall singer Shatta Wale has revitalized the Ghanaian music scene.
He asserts that even though the singer is frequently "misunderstood" for his antics on social media, it is impossible to ignore the energy and attention he attracts in the music industry.
He stated during his interview with MacG's PodcastAndChill: "There is someone [Shatta Wale] that infused enthusiasm into our profession."
The rapper for Rollies & Cigars continued by discussing his erratic friendship with Shatta.
The CEO of Sarkcess Music remarked, "Occasionally, while we are on the phone talking, he will be on the radio the next day yelling 'F Sark.'" He repeated, "Sometimes we don't get it, but I think he provided some vitality and attention to the music industry.
