Rapper Sarkodie claims that Dancehall singer Shatta Wale has revitalized the Ghanaian music scene.

He asserts that even though the singer is frequently "misunderstood" for his antics on social media, it is impossible to ignore the energy and attention he attracts in the music industry.

He stated during his interview with MacG's PodcastAndChill: "There is someone [Shatta Wale] that infused enthusiasm into our profession."
