Popular Nigeria Mike Ezuruonye has name checked Shatta Wale and Becca as his favorite male and female musicians in Ghana. He revealed his preferences in an interview, where he claimed that he listens to the two artiste the most out of all the musicians in Ghana. 

The actor stirred a debate in the country when he answered the question as to whom he preferred the most in Ghana. He technically touted Shatta Wale and Becca as the best to come out of Ghana with his favorites. 

The award-winning actor, in explaining his choice, said he likes Becca not because she is married to a Nigerian but likes her because she prefers taking her music outside Ghana. He added that he likes Shatta Wale because he is a real person.

“Becca is my favorite Ghanaian musician. I admire the way she tries to take her music out of her comfort zone. And also Shatta Wale” he said.

Mike is from Uzoakoli in Abia State Nigeria. He was born on September 21, 1982 in Lagos. He attended the Federal Government College, Wukari, Tarabaand Archbishop Aggey Memorial school, Lagos before studying Accounting at Nnamdi Azikiwe University. He worked as a banker prior to becoming an actor.

He has featured in several Nollywood movies. He received two nominations for Best Actor in a Supporting Role and Best Actor in a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2008, 2009 and a nomination for Best Actor in Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.
