                      The Ghana Education Service in partnership with Cowbell has organised the regional finale of the Independence Day Anniversary debate competition for the second cycle schools in the northern sector of the country with Serwaa Kesse SHS emerging first.

Ghana Education Service in partnership with Cowbell has organised the regional finale of the Independence Day Anniversary debate competition for the second cycle schools in the northern sector of the country with Serwaa Kesse SHS emerging first.
 Serwaa Kesse SHS emerged as the ultimate prize winner for the competition after a sterling display of their skill on the motion for the debate, ‘success is more important than happiness’ with 50 marks. 
They narrowly beat Nkoranza SHTS with just 3 points. 
At the end of the heated debate, all the schools received Hampers filled with products from Cowbell.
The debate saw together eight schools each representing a region. 
The schools include Zebilla SHTS from Upper East Region, Salaga SHS from Savana region, Drobo SHS from Bono Region, Nkoranza SHTS from Bono East Region, Serwaa Kesse from the Ahafo region, Nandom SHS from Upper West region, Walewale SHTS from North East Region and Northern School of Business from the Northern Region. 
Soiree News in an interview with the Second cycle coordinator Mrs Comfort Agyapong Selby, indicated that the program formed part of the activities of the service to mark the 65th independence Day Anniversary celebrations.
 She said the winner Serwaa Kesse will be competing at the national level and she is of the hope that they will beat their contenders to bring the cup home. She expressed her excitement about the competition and encourage all the students to pursue their dreams and not give up when there are obstacles.
The marketing representative of Promasidor, producers of Cowbell for the Bono, Bono East and Ahafo regions, Samuel Kwei said the competition is part of the commitment Cowbell has made to support the educational development of the Ghanaian child.
 He said he will like to assure GES and our students that Cowbell is here to stay, and they will continue to invest in such a project.
The contestant expressed joy for emerging winners and assured to work hard to beat their contenders to bring the ultimate prize to the northern sector.
