Parliamentary Select Committee on Trade, Industry and Tourism has paid a courtesy call on Zonda Tec Ghana Limited, a professional heavy duty vehicle trading company.
The visit which was done on Wednesday April 16, 2026 was aimed at inspecting commercial activities of the company, focusing of providing effective support to a company and "drive" its success, whi h will go along way to creat job opportunities for many young people in Ghana
In his address, Member of Parliament (MP) for Central Tongu Constituency in the Volta Region, Honourable Alexander Roosevelt Hotordze who doubles as the Chairman of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Trade, Industry and Tourism expressed their pleasure in the growing positive relationship between the select Committee and the company.
He underscored select Committee's interest to support the company to enhance its commercial activities.
She shared how the committee has kingly followed how the company carry out its good work and see some challenges that the company are facing, assuring the Commitee's commitment seek support from other MPs from the parliament to ensure that such challenges were addressed.
In her part, the Chief Executive Officer for Zonda Tec Ghana Limited, Madam Yang Yang said that, Zonda has come to stay and she believes that most Ghanaian woman lack the ability to venture into entrepreneurship.
She stressed that Zonda has employed about 500 Ghanaians to become a good asset to the nation Ghana.
She pleaded for more support from parliament since the relationship with Zonda and parliamentary select committee on trade is solid.
The Chief Executive officer endorsed the government 24 hour Economic policy.
