The assistant Programs Officer at the Bono Regional office of the  Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Isaac Adom Dapaah has called on the general public to seek a permit from their outfit before carrying out any project.

Speaking on Ark in the Morning monitored by Soiree News,  Isaac Ado Dapaah said the Environmental Protection Agency protects people and the environment from significant health risks, sponsors and conducts research as well as develops and enforces environmental regulations.

According to him, their purpose is to give permission so that the projects will not have any negative effects on the environment.

Clement Issachar Anaaba who is also the Assistant Programs Officer at the institution said their doors are opened for those who have already established projects without their permission.

He revealed that EPA has managed to introduce EPA topic in the syllabus of the school curriculum.

This development according to Mr. Anaaba was instilled environmental discipline in the younger ones so they can grow with it.

This EPA believes will go a long way in curbing the various environmental challenges the country has been facing in the near future.
