The Chairman for the convention Peoples Party in the Bono Region agreed with Major on the integrity of the Military coming down saying he grew up at the barracks and the kind of training officers go through before becoming soldiers was very high.

The Bono Regional Security Coordinator, Major Osei Agyemang Rtd, has called on the Military High command and the other security agencies to revisit the old strong and diligent way of recruiting men for the forces devoid of any political influence.

He was speaking on Ark FM’s issues monitored by Soiree News discussing the recent military brutalities that have been going on in some parts of the country saying the military and the security are losing their respect due to the compromise way they discharge their duties in recent times.

He blamed it on the political parties influence in the recruiting of the officers. According to him, it wasn't so in the past as a section of party members are heard saying they have aided some of their boys who are known to be vandals into the police and these party folks will always do a thing to favour their political party which might be against their mode of operations.

He also blamed the citizens who enquire of the services of the Military into matters that are not important such as small chieftaincy issues. He condemned the presence of the military at funeral sense providing a guide for individuals, a situation which forms part of the issues that call for the respect of the force dwindling.

He, therefore, added that there are some flashpoints in the country where when dealing with Security issues there must be dealt with professionally as Ejura is part and the approach the security used was uncalled for.
