The Chief of Buoyem and the Oyokohene of Techiman Traditional Area in the Bono East Region, Daasebre Ameyaw Kwarteng Amaniampong II is appealing to all parents in the Country particularly Buoyem to make the education of their children a priority to secure their future.

He said this has become a necessity as farmlands in the country are gradually being occupied with infrastructure.

Daasebre Ameyaw Kwarteng Amaniampong made the call at his palace in Buoyem as he observed his 8th Yam festival celebration.

Daasebre Ameyaw Kwarteng Amaniampong, however, seized the opportunity to urge the government to fix their dilapidated roads which has been paving way for robbers to attack traders and other road users who ply the roads.

He also called on government, corporate bodies, and other stakeholders to come to the aid of his community to help renovate the deplorable police post in the area to enable the police in the area to function well.

Finally, Nana advised the Techiman North District Chief Executive nominee who hails from Buoyem and was present at the occasion, Mr Addo-Donkor Everson to serve his new office with commitment and due diligence.

Meanwhile,  the former Brong Ahafo Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Lawyer Owusu Agyemang also emphasized that called on the DCE nominee to ensure teamwork as he discharge his new duties after being confirmed.
