More than 50 students with Bompeh Senior High School have sustained various   degrees of injuries this morning on their way to school when a moving train engine siezed and locked all doors.

More than 50 students with Bompeh Senior High School have sustained various ees of injuries this morning on their way to school when a moving train engine seized and locked all doors.

The students who were occupying the train were forced to break the window and pass through the emergency exit point

Jumping from the windows of the train some of them landed on the broken glasses that has cracked on the ground, from the window of the train which has caused a lot of degrees of injuries to the students. 

Some of the students are currently on admission at the new Takoradi clinic whiles others have been transferred to other health facilities. 

The personal manager for Ghana Railway Company, Mr. Ernest Arhin explained that after getting the information rushed to the various health centers to inform them that, their bills will be taken care of by the company. 

He again revealed that rail is the safest way of transportation in the country so they should not panic about the accident and lose hope of rail transport.

He concluded that the management has put things in place to resolve all issues relating to rail transport in the area.
