Ghanaian artiste, Mzbel, has subtly jabbed at Sarkodie's presidential hopes by claiming that herself and Shatta Wale are the only entertainers fit to lead Ghana.

It was earlier reported that Sarkodie aired his ambition to lead Ghana sometime in the future. After he was promptly shot down by his fans, Mzbel has now weighed in on the matter by saying that Sarkodie is not on the list of possible candidates to lead Ghana from the entertainment industry.

She made this known while answering the host of Happy 98.9 FM’s ‘Ayekoo After Drive,’ DJ Advicer’s question, when he asked her to name five artistes who she thinks are fit to lead Ghana. Mzbel said she believes the list is not up to five, as only two (herself and Shatta Wale) are eligible.

“Shatta Wale and myself are the only ones who can lead Ghana. I am a mother and I can rule the country very easily.”

“Give me just a year and I’ll organize the country in a prim and proper way.”

"Even if you come to my restaurant, the way I serve the people is really great and they love me for that.”

She maintained that she selected her own self for her people skills and Shatta Wale for his ability to be direct with his feelings.

"Shatta is very real and openly says whatever is on his mind. Shatta is real and whatever he does is not acting unlike other musicians.”

Mzbel also attributed the traits to herself, as she pointed out that this is why herself and Shatta Wale tend to trend a lot because they are always honest with how they feel.

“I never ever plan anything I do. I speak my mind. So I find it surprising that people will plan controversies to trend. I will never ever plan controversies to trend. Unfortunately, people are interested in negativity and beef. So if you speak your mind, it looks like you planned a negative trend”.

She revealed that most Ghanaians feel that she hopes to trend on purpose with her words, but she never plans it as the bitter truth will naturally travel far and wide in Ghana.

"If I was bent on planning negative trends, I would have been downloading that on YouTube for money. But when it strikes me that I need to express myself, I express myself. That thing is not my style. Back in the days that was not how things were done”,she concluded.
